Insurance Requirements
The SCA requires all members to be covered by Liability/Sports Insurance which specifically provides coverage for the types of events and activities sanctioned by the SCA. There are two options available this year:

1. If you are provided with insurance through your school board or other source, then you may comply by providing the SCA with a Certificate of Insurance (COI) which names the SCA as an additional insured. The limit of Liability should not be less than $3,000,000 (Three Million CDN). (This is required for out of province teams competing in an SCA Sanctioned Competition).
2. If you do not have other insurance or are unable to provide the required Certificate of Insurance, then we are happy to be able to offer participation in our blanket Sports Insurance policy for the minimal cost of $5.00 per person for the year.

Member Insurance
The SCA, must submit an Insurance Form, Waiver Form and payment for each participant (athletes and coaches) along with their Membership Application & payment. Please see the Forms link on the left for these two forms. Information regarding coverage is included in the Insurance Form.
