Objectives
- To develop standardized safety regulations for use in all schools, organizations, clinics, and competitions.
- To act as a regulating body for cheerleading in the province of Saskatchewan.
- To promote the development of and work closely with schools running invitational competitions.
- To encourage cheerleaders to have respect for the sport and thus gain respect from others.
- To provide support to schools in the promotion of cheerleading within their own schools and regions. To encourage athletes to develop skill level, enthusiasm, and a repertoire of cheers, chants, stunts, pyramids, and dances.
- To provide a network system and communication for people interested in cheerleading.
- To forge a better understanding with principals, school board administration, physical education departments, and other school athletic associations.
- To encourage coaches and judges within the province to become actively involved and knowledgeable through conferences and clinics.
- To establish communication between provincial, national, and international organizations.
- To provide an SCA arbitrator who would be in attendance at all SCA approved competitions to solve any difficult, controversial problems.
